The music of French artist Gwenn Tremorin AKA Flint Glass falls fairly & squarely into the 'ambient industrial realms' inhabited by the likes of Ah Cama Sotz &, to a lesser extent, This Morn Omina (both of whom appear as remixers on this album). The cold cover artwork sets the scene for the music herein which alternates between suitably cold ambient excursions as characterised by "Yog Sothot" & "Slither Chaos", both of which benefit from the greater melodic influence that gradually creeps through the abstract elements that are such an important part of this album's make-up (no doubt due to the stated HP Lovecraft influence) & the vigorous rhythmic excursions that are quite inventive as the timbres used often have an expressive element all of their own that indicates an artist who has successfully mastered their craft with "Nephren-Ka" proving a good example of this attention to detail.. For me any release like this will always be interesting rather than good & while it's not the sort of thing I would choose to listen to fans of the aforementioned artists should find this very much to their liking.
