Wow, this is interesting. There appears to be very little information about who the Son of Dave actually are – and so the only conclusion I can come to is that like true art, they just ARE... And they've got a really interesting mix going on here with "Lover Not a Fighter" – a bit of bossa nova, laid back and funky, and could possibly termed 'soul food'. The mood is decidedly psychedelic and groovy – just right for a summer festival tent, yes the hippies are grooving in my mind's eye right now. The psychedelic projectioner is casting swirly shapes and patterns; and the scent of burning sage floats on the air in hazy summertime blissfulness... "Your Mercedes" may go wrong someday, apparently, according to this song. Just run it in for a service first and don't put up with any rattling noises. And it sounds as though the situation may be getting desperate – what with really wanting 'things to go wrong someday', your credit record may get wrecked what with the price of rising petrol, car tax and servicing. And you'll have to hand that beautiful car back to its dealer – for a Ford Capri, or something. Fingers crossed it'll be alright in the end though, phew.
Perfect for a summertime snooze.
